About the Role

We are looking for a driven individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Assistant. In this role you will be responsible support the team working towards hitting month end deadlines effectively while ensuring we deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally. The role of the Accounts Receivable Assistant will work closely with the internal Credit Control function and Treasury as we aspire for excellence and ensure all payments are hitting on time.  

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain the company’s administrative systems and procedures.
  • Production of the monthly invoice runs throughout the month. Ensuring they all go on time and working to the deadlines. Checking that we are billing correctly.
  • Posting receipts from the bank statements daily and allocation of remittances advices , accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Processing monthly direct debit collections ensuring they are submitted and allocated correctly.
  • Maintaining the resident list and ensuring all paperwork is received and inputted accurately and efficiently. Working with the care homes to ensure all paperwork and resident records are correct.
  • Checking all the admissions and discharges and ensuring all new accounts are set up withing the same month where possible.
  • Working with local authorities to minimise debt movements, ensuring all current payments are made on time. Ensuring allocations are done accurately and checking what we are billing is right.
  • Work towards KPI’S

About You

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment where deadlines must be met.
  • Excellent influencing , interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant experience and a passion for delivering great support to customers in financial difficulty –real empathy required for the personal situations of care home residents and their families.
  • Team player willing to share ideas and techniques to improve the business.
  • Drive and passion to keep learning ,  take on new opportunities and adapt to any changes.
  • A logical thought process to resolve queries
