Are you detail‑driven, eager to learn, and looking to kickstart your career in finance? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Billing and Collections Apprentice to join our busy finance team. This role offers hands‑on experience, structured training, and the chance to grow into billing and collections responsibilities.

 What You’ll Do

  • Process daily financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Update cash flow forecasts with remittances
  • Post receipts from bank statements and allocate remittance advices
  • Manage Direct Debit receipts and nil accounts to keep ledgers clean
  • Take card payments over the phone and record transactions correctly
  • Run system reports to support debtor book analysis
  • Assist with system cleansing to ensure clear customer communications
  • Respond promptly to debtor and internal enquiries
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Provide general support to the wider Accounts Receivable team

What We’re Looking For

  • GCSE Maths (Grade 5 or above)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
  • Desire to undertake a Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship in Finance
  • Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with good organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
