About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a Regional Maintenance Supervisor to join the Estates Team due to continued growth within MMCG.

This is a regional position and would suit someone living around the Milton Keynes area, willing to travel and with overnight stays when necessary

The role:

As Regional Maintenance Supervisor you will support the Estates Director with installation, or repair and maintenance of the homes within your region, in tandem with Home Maintenance staff and Home Managers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the region in the supervision and management of maintenance during installations, repairs or maintenance including project works.
  • Carry out daily maintenance and repairs to damaged or faulty company property and equipment.
  • Assemble and install new equipment delivered to a home.
  • Follow guidance to ensure call outs to contractors are minimised.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with fire and water risk assessments.
  • Induct and train new team members.
  • Cover for annual leave, sickness leave and provide emergency call out cover when required.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced maintenance person, ideally within the care home environment, with experience of quality standards and health and safety regulations. In addition, you will have flexibility to travel regionally to support your remit of care homes.

Knowledge and experience

  • City & Guilds qualification in Building / Maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Experienced Maintenance Operative, ideally within a care home environment.
