About the Role

As a result of continued growth and development within the Marketing Department, we are searching for a passionate and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team based in Leeds.

This pivotal role forms a key part of the Marketing team and will assume full responsibility for admin duties which support Group marketing activity. With an ambitious marketing strategy in place, the aim is to further attract attention and recognition across the care sector and beyond.

Key Tasks

  • To manage and execute effective Marketing Admin tasks to support the delivery of groupwide marketing and communication activities
  • To demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to manage own workload whilst working under pressure
  • To support in the creation, delivery and implementation of marketing campaigns in line with MMCG marketing strategies that aim to deliver against commercial objectives
  • To act as the ‘face’ of the centrally based team, being the first point of contact for booking of print and marketing jobs, marketing queries etc.
  • To work as part of the team to provide and further develop the support required for the external Lifestyle and Sales teams eg. helping with venue booking, training and event attendance and evaluation etc.
  • To help further establish support services across all channels to raise awareness, attract and help convert enquiries etc.
  • To support the Digital Marketing team where required to adopt new approaches to further improve online performance and visibility via website, carehome.co.uk etc
  • To demonstrate good stakeholder management skills to encompass interaction with internal colleagues, external agencies etc.
  • To support the working within and maintenance of the MMCG brand identity standards across all channels

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 1 year experience within a creative marketing environment, working both individually and as part of a team
  • A strong attention to detail with excellent literary skills
  • Demonstration of a commitment to high standards of delivery with a strong customer focus and a hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of proposing new ideas and ways of working with confidence
  • Some knowledge of Print and Print Production Processes advantageous
  • A good working knowledge of a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office, experience of using Adobe would be advantageous.
  • A positive approach and a passion for business and the role that marketing plays within it
  • Experience of involvement in managing budgets with sound commercial acumen
  • This role will be based in our Leeds Head Office but with a willingness to travel more widely on occasions when required – this could be for home visits as part of induction or attendance at events
  • Full driving licence (preferable)
